What We Can Offer You
There are too many amazing pieces of dental tech for us to list them all here, but we can give you a sample.
Nomad Handheld X-ray
X-rays are vital for dental offices, and they have been for many, many years. There is no other way to get a clear look at what goes on beneath the surface of your mouth.
Digital conversion has made the x-ray process easier, more streamlined, and more effective. But it doesn’t end there! Hand-held x-ray machines are taking the dentistry world by storm. These machines use a lower radiation level, they can be positioned at nearly any angle they’re needed, and best of all, they’re transportable.
This mobility helps a dental office save money, space, and time. Increased office efficiency translates directly into a better patient experience for you.
Composite Resin
A traditional dental practice used to use amalgam fillings. Amalgams are a metallic mixture of tin, copper, and zinc, all glued together with mercury. Mercury is an extremely useful metal for this job, since it has an extremely low melting point. In fact, it is the only metal on earth that is found in a liquid state at room temperature. Unfortunately, extensive exposure to mercury is also toxic to human beings.
Modern scientific study has come up with several alternatives which Access Health Dental is proud to use instead of amalgams. One of the most well-known and most popular of these is the composite resin filling.
Composite resin is strong. It bonds to the natural tooth material much better than old metals, and doesn’t conduct heat and cold nearly so much. On top of all the other benefits, composite resins are designed to be perfectly tooth-colored. No one will even know they’re there.
Our office exclusively uses no-amalgam formulas, in order to keep you healthy and safe.
Soft Tissue Laser
Dental lasers sound like something you might find in a futuristic sci-fi novel. However, lasers are not a thing of the future, but are being successfully used right now!
Lasers are excellent for soft-tissue surgeries and for deep cleanings because they can be aimed so specifically. Less damage to the surrounding tissue means less swelling, less healing time, and more accurate work. Access Health Dental is thrilled to offer you this amazing bit of technology.
